THE
COMMITTEE AT WORK
The
Council of the Local Institute meet regularly to review
the services we are providing to the local insurance community.
Education,
Programme are
key areas but we also do some work and fundraising for the
Insurance Charities.
INSURANCE CHARITIES
The Insurance Benevolent
Fund and The Insurance Orphans’ Fund work hand in
hand to bring relief to those who are finding life difficult
and who have worked in insurance or who are a dependant
relative of someone who has worked in insurance for at least
five years.
These charities can give
help towards day - to - day living expenses where income
is insufficient to meet expenditure and for recognised special
needs. Help can be given on an outright basis or under one
of the Funds’ loan schemes.
Throughout the year we will
try to help these charities by raising funds at some of
our events. If you are interested in further information
